Description and Responsibilities
We are looking for a Web Developer to build and maintain high-quality web applications using the Laravel framework. You will be responsible for backend and frontend development, managing e-commerce platforms, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party services like Zoho. Key Responsibilities: • Application Development: Design and maintain production-level web applications using PHP and Laravel. • API Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs (specifically Zoho and custom APIs) and manage OAuth2 authentication. • Data Processing: Handle JSON parsing and process incoming webhooks for real-time system updates. • System Maintenance: Manage the WAMP stack (Windows, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB) and optimize database performance. • Automation: Implement and monitor background tasks and scheduled jobs to automate routine processes. • Security & Reliability: Ensure robust error handling, logging, and security best practices such as input validation and secure token management. • Collaboration: Work with other developers to implement responsive HTML/CSS/JavaScript features and improve overall system functionality.
Skills & Qualifications
• At least a diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent. • Experience in developing production-level PHP or web-based applications. • Proficiency in the Laravel framework is a must. • Solid knowledge of Windows (WAMP stack), Apache, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms. • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with designers and other developers. Additional Qualifications (Preferred): • Experience with RESTful APIs (consuming/integrating Zoho and custom APIs, and handling OAuth2). • JSON and webhooks handling (parsing data and processing incoming webhooks). • Implementation of proper error handling and logging for API calls and token expiration. • Knowledge of security best practices (secure token management and input validation). • Experience with background tasks and scheduled jobs.
